You Are Not Alone
I believe healing happens when we feel safe enough to tell the truth — to ourselves, and often in connection with someone who sees us fully with compassion. Therapy, at its best, creates space for that kind of truth-telling.
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a lifetime of experiences, change, and the transcending power of relationships. I grew up in Austin, studied design at UT, lived for a time in Tokyo, and spent over a decade in New York City. Along the way, I became a teacher, a mother, a grief group facilitator, and a mental health therapist. That path has also included my own dark night of the soul—periods of deep questioning, grief, and inner reckoning that ultimately led me toward more clarity, connection, and purpose.
I bring a wide lens to therapy, shaped by my own journey with death and non-death loss. I hold deep respect for the complexity of grief, disorientation of change, and intense emotions, including the quiet ache of not feeling at home in our own lives or relationships. These experiences inform how I sit with others… gently, curiously, and without judgment.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in a mind-body framework. I blend somatic awareness with creativity and evidence-based tools to support adults navigating grief, burnout, life transitions, and relational patterns they’re ready to shift. Many of my clients are parents, lawyers, and other professionals seeking more sustainable, connected ways to live and relate. Together, we explore self-trust and what it means to feel authentic, rooted, and at peace, while gently uncovering the deeper layers of your unique story.
Outside the therapy room, you can find me playing Uno with my family, hiking the Greenbelt with my 80-pound pitbull/boxer, catching live music, or helping to bring my kiddos’ imaginative recipes and “Twilight Zone” movie scripts to life. I’m a lover of deep conversations and find inspiration in the words of Rumi, Dr. Shefali Tsabary, Eckhart Tolle, Dr. Nicole LePera, Young Pueblo, and “This Jungian Life” podcast. I also maintain a dedicated practice in Eidetic Imagery—a powerful tool for exploration that uses vivid mental images to access deeper layers of emotion, somatic responses, and thought. This work continues to deepen through the rich dialogue of a psychoanalytic consultation group.
If you’re seeking a space where you don’t have to hold it all alone, I’d be honored to work with you. Together, we can uncover the clarity and connection already within you.
